With an acquisition dependent on raising £450,000, I developed and led the communications campaign, shaping the story, bringing the team behind it and managing media interest. The funding was secured and the acquisition completed.

I established the corporate affairs function, bringing together disparate teams, introducing dedicated communications business partners and building public affairs capability. The result was less reliance on agencies, greater accountability and a stronger voice for communications across the business.

I turned a workplace study involving 30,000 people across 21 countries into thought leadership that connected client priorities with compelling evidence. The findings became a valuable part of new-business pitches and client retention conversations.

I refreshed the corporate tone of voice as part of a global masterbrand campaign that contributed to a seven-point rise in brand favourability. Improvements to owned digital channels also increased website views by 18% and LinkedIn followers by 15%.

I developed a consistent narrative and communications toolkits for leaders through major acquisitions and exits from nine markets, coordinating activity across 11 countries. The deals completed on schedule without damaging media coverage, and colleagues understood what the changes meant for them.
